BuyAutoParts.com has been in business for over 25 years.   We started out as a wholesale distributor of automotive products in 1988 and grew as an online retailer of auto parts.  Today we have 120 employees in our San Diego, CA headquarters.   Our traditional WD group continues to serve wholesale accounts, while our internet site is a popular destination for retail customers, car enthusiasts and mechanics. 

We are currently seeking a Data Entry/Analyst to join our Products Team.  This position will provide analytical and tactical support to the company’s Products team, performing a variety of purchasing, product management and supply chain duties.  Advanced excel skills and outstanding attention to detail are a must, as the position requires a considerable amount of Excel work and data management.  The position also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the Data Entry/Analyst will communicate frequently with international and domestic vendors.  Additionally, the Data Entry/Analyst will work with both the Accounting and Purchasing departments to reconcile vendor issues and to help facilitate inbound and outbound shipments.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.


  • Minimum of 1-3 years professional experience (Data Entry or supply chain experience a plus, but not necessary)
  • Excellent communication(written & verbal), customer service, and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of completion
  • Ability to understand, analyze and verify large volumes of data
  • Ability to type no less than 65 Words per minute
  • Microsoft Excel skills a must(VLOOKUPS, subtotals, filtering, and other basic routines within Excel)
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree


  • Review and approve domestic and international purchase orders
  • Coordinate with domestic and international vendors daily to ensure records are accurately maintained and updated
  • Organize vendor pricing by conducting cost updates, maintaining discounts and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain up to date product information via excel sheet-based review
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed for Products Team

Salary and Benefits
